Hi,
Having a BEd degree will no longer be enough to become a school teacher. Aspirants will now have to clear an eligibility test with at least 60% to be able to teach at any private or government school. The test will be conducted once a year, separately by State Govts and the Centre.
TET will have two papers with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Paper I will be for those intending to become teachers for classes I-V. Paper II will be for those aspiring to teach between classes VI and VIII. Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear for both papers.

Hi Manjodh, M.Tech is a technical degree that is offered after engineering degree or an equivalent diploma.
Well, the cut-off varies every year. It would be advisable to contact the institutes personally or check their websites for detailed knowledge regarding the admission procedure, recognition, cut-offs, fee structure, etc as it differs from one university / institute to another.

1. CTI Certification as discussed above.

2. Central Training Institute for Instructors which comes under Directorate General of Employment & Training, Ministry of Labor, GOI.
