Hi Geet, I really appreciate and understand your concern and would say that there are many courses in design like fashion, interior, exterior, footwear, jewelry, etc. To direct your son in the right direction I would like to know first he is interested in which field.
Next, there is immense scope in almost every possible field. Training is the most essential and important aspect. Good drawing and sketching skills will prove to be an added advantage in this field.
Such fields require technically skilled and competent professionals who are able to work alone on a project for long hours with risk-taking ability and patience.

The duration of MBA course is 2 years.Students pursue MBA after BBA to further enhance their career options.
In order to pursue MBA from India you need to have:
Good academic record, preferably 50% plus in graduation.
Relevant undergraduate degree form recognized university.

Hi Shubham, scope of merchant navy in India is very promising one. The number of ship and cruise are increasing, also private giants are investing crores in ports,and sea trade.
There is a boom in this sector with handsome salary package.
You can enter it right after your 12 (PCM) after completing 1 years pre-sea training as a deck cadet. There is no vision eligibility for merchant navy.
After completing B.Sc.(Nautical Science) in the officer cadre which will lead you to become captain after 5-7 years of experiance.
You can also join it directly after b.tech in marine engineering,or mechanical, electrical, electronics & telecommunication, naval architect.
Except marine engineering candidates others have to undergo a 10 months pre-sea training which is offered by many institute and port trusts or recruitingcompany itself. After that you will be appointed as a 5th or junior engineer. It will take you 5-7 years depending in your own abilities for becoming 'chief engineer'.
