There are 2 sessional 1 Mid term and 1 End term in TU in one semister. If you miss any exam before the End term for a valid reason then you can appear again within the sem giving applications to the respective depts. And if you somehow miss the End term for some valid reasons then you will get a I grade that means you can appear again for the End term after giving applications.

No, you must appear in TUEE for the respective course and JEE Mains for B.Tech admission in TU.

For B Tech cources in TU one must appear in JEE Mains and then through JoSSA councilling for direct admission and you have to secure a good score let say for general around 82-85 percentile in JEE Mains. And for lateral entry one must appear in TUEE Tezpur University Entrence Exam) held by the university. But for North East students there is 60% reservation for admission and seperate councilling.

It is around 2300-2500 and it fluctuates every month and varies according to the fees decided by the mess committee of every hostels. And the point to be noted is the hostel fees only includes the mess fees. TU hostels do not asks fees for staying or other factors alike the mess fees and the mess fees is decided after the net money spent per boarders per month for the food.

Yes, for North Eastern students there is a reservation of 60% and as usual for Gen-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PWD there are reservations for students. Additionally, there are seats reserved for the students that got a rank in HSLC and HS final exam in Assam.

The food is edible like any other institute you won't find the food to be like your home, but it is also not that bad. The mess is managed by the students only. Every hostel has their admin body which also consists of mess manager and mess convener who looks after the affairs of the mess. The monthly mess fees varies from hostel to hostel but it is always between 2300-2500. Students get food 3 times I. e Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. You'll get the basic facilities like the laboratory, work area, library, an huge playground for any fest or tournaments done by the seniors, you'll find a total floor of laboratories also they have an underground lab which is dedicated to mechanical and electrical engineering students. There is a huge hall area where the big events take place and that's it you'll find pretty clean classrooms and clean bathrooms.

I didn't see any hostel attached in the university in the college but I heard from one of my friend that it is 15 min of walking from the college I'm not sure that the hostel is under the university or not but as per my friend he said 6000-10000 rupees per month is the hostel fees.

I don't think there is any seat reservation option in Techno India University you can get the admission if you have above 60% marks in 10th or 12th exams also there is a certain time when the admissions are open.
