Firstly, IIT-Jodhpur is quite new, I mean just four years old or so while MNIT has an established reputation and is now in its 52nd year. Also, the infrastructure is good. No offence intended towards IIT-Jodhpur but if you take out the tag "IIT" you'll find that it is hollow. Placements are faring much better at MNIT.
Best of luck for coming college life.

Yes, you can definitely get admission for B.Tech in Automobile Engineering at Lovely Professional University (LPU) with 68% in your board exams. The minimum eligibility requirement for B.Tech at LPU is 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English or Chemistry, so you meet the basic criteria. However, admission is not based on board percentage alone—you will also need to qualify an entrance exam such as LPUNEST, JEE Main, or CUET. Since the exemption from LPUNEST is only for students who score 90% or above in boards, you will be required to appear for LPUNEST to secure your admission. Performing well in LPUNEST n

If you have good Intermediate score, and you still remember concepts, so that mere revision is enough to recollect them, then yes it is easy to get under 10,000.
All you need to do is divide the time into 2 halves, one half for preparation and the other half to solve mock question papers and previous papers.
1. Don't study too much - if you do this, consider you are gone?
2. Practice solving question papers within 3 hours - this will fetch you good rank. Trust me, for EAMCET, all you need is paper solving capability more than concepts. (Ask anyone who wrote EAMCET, they will say the same) (I choked in exam, because I didn't manage time
