56 is a good score in TANCET. For your information, I would like to give you an information that last year, the last cutoff under BC quota to get admission in PSGIM is 56. So based on this fact, I cannot guarantee your admission in PSGIM, however, the chances are more. It still depends on the student choices of MBA colleges this year.

I. Post-Graduation (M.Sc. -IT/ MCA)
In Post-graduation, a B.Sc. IT graduate can do a M.Sc in the same field or a MCA. Now, Job-wise M.Sc is preferred by people who want to go into the research or the teaching field.
