Getting a job directly after B. Pharma: Graduates who do not wish to pursue post graduate studies or plan on doing them later try to get jobs after B.Pharma. Jobs are usually offered in the field of sales and marketing. Some also work as pharmacists in hospitals whereas some are able to secure jobs at manufacturing facilities of pharmaceutical companies. Some also set up their own pharmacy. MBA after B. Pharma: Some students pursue MBA after B.Pharma whereas some pursue it after gaining a few years' experience (usually in sales and marketing). M.Pharma can be done in many fields like pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, clinical pharmacology, pharmacognosy, biotechnology, etc. M.Pharma graduates either join the industry as scientists or as lecturers in universities. Some M.Pharma students pursue a Ph.D. which is required to become a professor in good Indian universities. A lot of Ph.D. holders also join the industry. (There is a difference between a lecturer and a professor)
MS/PhD after B. Pharma: Motivated students who pursue undergraduate research and gain experience via internships along with good scores in college can apply for MS or even direct Ph.D. programs abroad. GRE and TOEFL/IELTS may be required depending upon the country and university. The competition is usually very cutthroat as you are competing with applicants from all over the world.LLB after B. Pharma: This is a very uncommon route. Some B.Pharma graduates pursue LL.B and become lawyers. Dear Varun, Both are good private universities. But, yes, for the VSE programme I highly recommend LPU over Amity Noida based on a few points that I will share with you as follows:
Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. LPU also offer B.Tech (Hons. ).
