Though it may be blacklisted by UGC previously, but now it is the 88th private university. And that ranking is given by MHRD. Yes, a dropout can apply for undergraduate UGAT any NIT, IIIT on the basis of his/her JEE Mains rank. If you have passed 12th in 2018 and dropped one year then you can apply in 2019 on the basis of your rank of JEE Mains 2019.

Hi Bhausaheb,I am sorry to say, but you won't qualify for Engineering.
Qualification: Pass in 10+2, class 12th or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English, as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the and at least 45% marks (for reserved category and Persons with Disability candidates) belonging to Maharashtra State only).
