Things which you should keep in your mind while college campus are.
1. You should have above 60% throughout your B.Tech.
2. You should have be strong in Appti and reasoning for clearing next round.
3. Your confidence should be high.
4. Your English should be good to impress the interviewer.
5. Your technical knowledge must be strong.
6. You GD (group discussion) skills must be too good.
7. You should be able to represent yourself in a good way.
8. You must be good listener because interviewer don't like to repeat one thing again and again.
These are the things you should keep in your mind.

You may take science along with physics, chemistry, maths, and elective subject biology, biotechnology, or Hindi. After completing your HSC, go for B.Sc. in Maths or physics, chemistry, etc.

There are two things –
One, you want to clear GATE and second you want to score a good rank. For No.1, just Study for a month from any Xyz BT book.
For No. 2, you have to follow a long and laborious path, I think 6-8 months are necessary for GATE prep. Just make proper time schedules, undertake regular test and study regularly
Now coming to the books
The wonder and magic book - Biotechnology a problem approach by pathfinder academy (don't make a mistake to overlook this book.)

Hi Rajesh,
Now, there will be no entrance exams in 2018 as most of the entrance exams are already completed. CAT exam is also already done and so are the rest of the entrance exams, like state entrances, etc. So, this year, you will not find any entrance exam. In fact, admissions are going for MBA. You will be eligible for CAT 2019 or any other state or college entrance exam. So, prepare yourself for 2019 entrance exam.
