AMIE shall give you a qualification equivalent to B.E. or B.Tech. It is a good idea to pursue that as you are already working. In aviation, engineers who work on aircrafts and take care of their maintenance and repairs are games. They hold a certified license issued by DGCA. Only they are allowed to work on aircrafts. Apart from these there are various other profiles like airport managers, deputy managers, IT managers, commercial staff etc., where BE and B.Tech holders are invited to join the organisation. But I'm afraid AMIE is not a qualification which will help you getting the job. Usually they accept full time degree holders that too from some specific branches of the organisation's interest.

To appear for the CAT (Common Admission Test) exam, you need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria set by the Indian Institutes of Management (Iims), which conduct the exam. Here are the eligibility criteria for CAT 2023:
Educational qualification: You should have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) from a recognised university or educational institution. Candidates appearing for the final year of their Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination or those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. Age limit: There is no age limit to appear for the CAT exam. Nationality: Indian nationals and foreign nationals can apply for the CAT exam. Foreign nationals should have a valid passport and must satisfy the eligibility criteria of the respective IIMs
Reservation: The IIMs follow the Government of India's reservation policy for admission to various management programs. If you meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above, you can appear for the CAT exam. It is important to note that the exact eligibility criteria may vary slightly from year to year. Therefore, it is advisable to check the official CAT website for the latest updates and notifications.

Now, you should know that which subject may be very good and useful for you in preparation. So, I would like to inform you that - History, Geography, Political Science and Economics are the subjects that are necessary for both sections of this examination because these subjects covers more than 50% part of the Paper I in preliminary examination of ICS and there will be separate papers conducted for these papers in main examination under - General Studies I, II, III and IV and in that these subjects will cover at least 2 papers then you will have to choose optional subject from the list of the subjects given by the board and there will be two papers conducted for one optional subject so you can choose any one of the - History/ Geography/ Political Science and International Relations/ Public Administration/ Economics/ Psychology/ Sociology or any other literature subject to appear for those two papers so no subject is useless in this examination
First of all you should see that which subject is most interesting for you in arts stream and for that you can get books from library and read complete details then choose better combination and basically we are allowed to choose three subjects with English as compulsory so you can choose any combination from the following
History + Geography + Sociology
History + Geography + Political Science and International Relations
History + Geography + Economics
History + Geography + Public Administration
Geography + Political Science and International Relations + Economics
History + Economics + Public Administration
Geography + Economics + Public Administration
There will be various combinations available to choose but I would like to tell you that do not leave History and Geography from your combination and if possible then take Economics with that so you will get huge profit in preparation of this examination because you will complete your basic infrastructure of preparation while XI and XII then graduation in the same way for in depth details so the combination of - History + Geography and Economics will be the best for you and for that you need to work hard over all subjects mentioned here in combination because in depth study is necessary and if you get good knowledge then you will be able to score good marks in examination so you have to walk according to the requirement and prepare for exam.
