It will not make a difference to applying for UPSC exam but the low marks indicate that you have lot of room left for improvement as far as the academics is concerned and you need to drastically improve your subject knowledge plus your knowledge retaining power. This aspect might have a repurcussion in the UPSC exam unless you improve upon it.
