CAT is national-level MBA entrance examination conducted by the IIMs for admission in their MBA program. Admission to IIMs is two stage process. First stage is based on CAT score. Candidates who clear CAT are called for GDPI. Selection is based on CAT score, GDPI performance and academic records. Different weightages are given to these evaluation criteria.
The minimum eligibility criterion for admission in MBA in IIMs is at least a 3-years Bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent (45 per cent for SC/ST or persons with disability (PWD) category).

COMEDK conduct their own entrance exam every year in a month of May. Every year, a minimum score is decided by the controlling bodies of the exam. The minimum score is called as COMEDK entrance exam cutoff marks. The candidates, who score above this cutoff will be included in the merit list.
1. General: 50%.
2. General OPH: 45%.
3. OBC/ SC/ ST: 40%.
The candidates have to score at least the above specified marks to be included in the merit list.

Just have confidence in yourself and try to solve as many sample papers as possible. Mathematics is the most scoring area. Go through the basic concepts in physics and derivation is not required. In chemistry, study the organic part and electrochemistry.

MBA abroad is very different unlike in India. You must complete your Bachelor degree and gain significant work experience after your studies and before you apply for the MBA. You must also take the GMAT or GRE and TOEFL or IELTS. If you want to go to a top ranked university you must prepare accordingly. If you have a very good profile you may be accepted without a work experience but this will depend on the university. Visit university websites and research thoroughly.
