You need to be a gradute and in the age bracket of 21 to 30 years. If you enjoy reading, studying and have the ability to remember things, have good general knowledge and enjoy reading abour current affairs on national and international front, if you are academically good at your graduation subject then you may proceed to give prelims exam in June 2011 or may be next year. Although, the opinion may vary from person to person I feel Financial Modeling is still at very nascent stage in India, and you would not find many institutes providing courses related to financial modeling so, I would suggest you to go for SAS programme which not only has a good standing in the banking sector but also good for people who have knack for accounting.

As rightly said by Mr. Nikhilesh Mathur, it is not possible to calculate a CTC as there is a huge gap between the CTC and what you would get as the Net Salary. Also there are several other factors which cannot be determined for calculating one's salary.
All i would just is to stay confident, and gain proper education through the certification as your knowledge is the key to gain a good opportunity.
