MBA is a programme which is offered by the colleges affiliated to a university.

Hi,
It depends on which specific B-school you are targeting. Every School has its specific conditions.
Eg: IIM C / B: 5 Years work ex. + Graduation + Valid GMAT Score. Now a higher GMAT score & work experience will always come handy when applying at TOP B-schools.
Further, it also depends on what kind of experience you have: Is it versatile or is it in a particular industry: depending on that college will give weightage to it. Like, ISB gives more weightage to versatile experience based on International standards. You may refer to the following link for the list of top B-Schools offering MBA/PGDM course: https://www.shiksha.com/mba/ranking/top-mba-colleges-in-india/2-2-0-0-0.
In order to have a good campus placement, you are advised to do MBA from any of the top 50 B-Schools in India. As it is very tough to get admission in any of these B-Schools, you are advised to prepare well for CAT & MAT exam.
