As you are in 12th and if you have chosen Science stream then you can start preparing for engineering entrance exams.You can take coachings for it.Some top Indian government colleges for B.Tech are IIT,Nits,Dtu and among private BITS PILANI,SRM CHENNAI,VIT VELLORE are really good in terms of academics and placements.If you start working on your concepts from now you might easily end up at nits,bits,srm,vit and get your desired branch too.If you work harder you can also get an IIT.In srm and vit you can also go by management quota.
