Banking sector have competitive exams from clerical to PO to manager level posts. One should be Learned about quantitative aptitude, reasoning, English , general awareness specifically of banking sector and economics , general accounts and finance. Exam body are SBI IBPS RBI rrb nabard etc. Get some good books such as of rs Aggarwal for quant and reasoning and start preparing or you can join coaching once you did with your graduation or side by side if it's non regular course. There call depends on the number of students appeared and rank designated. If more than 25k students have appeared and ranks are designated, then the first call would be for 1 to 3000 rank holders and the other you can easily guess.

The decision is solely yours. Since your work experience is only of 1 year it shouldn't be a problem for you to switch domains after your MBA. I'd advise you to take into account the opportunities available at your college to decide the domain.
