One should study to her/his level best because properly studied stuff never gets ruined. It works for us in one way or the other.The B.Com programme pro vides a good base for a range of careers. These are broadly of two types those related to business and finance such as chartered accountancy, company secretaryship, and cost and works accountancy (CWA), banking and so on, and the non-finance fields such as law, civil services, mass communication, hotel management and so on.There are many diploma courses open to you. To enhance your qualification in accounts, you may consider courses such as CWA, or oth ers related to finance and banking such as a diploma in banking and finance offered by a number of institutes, including the Aligarh Muslim University and University of Rajasthan.Annamalai University offers PG diplo ma in banking law and prac tice, which may be helpful if you wish to go for CS or law.Other courses in banking and finance include a PG diploma in banking opera tions offered by the Institute of Finance Banking & Insuran After completion of B.Com one can also go for MBA or M.Com whatever he/she likes. In the meanwhile he/she can search a part time job for gaining experience and affording his/her everyday expenditure.

Frankly speaking, as every individual is different so is his interests and capabilities, so the opinion on this may vary from person to person. I would say that both the programs will lead you to the path of bright future but remember only graduation in computer application or Business administration would not give you the kind of growth you are looking for so after completing your graduation you should plan your Masters degree.
I would like to add here that the most important thing which you should keep in mind while choosing your education field is your interests and career aspirations. So keep this in mind and choose the field for which you are passionate.
