Electrical and Electronics engineering are two popular engineering streams in India. Electrical is one of the oldest branch along with mechanical and civil. Electronics is one of the modern streams, which has become popular during the last two decades.
Electrical engineering deals with the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. Electronics engineering mainly deals with design and development of electronic circuits, equipments and machines. So electrical and electronics engineering is a combination of both electrical and electronics disciplines.
It is extremely difficult to make a comparison between any two core streams in engineering.
