Hi Hari,
The IAS is conducted by the UPSc and is carried out on two levels : CSAT and the Main exam.
UPSC 2011 CSAT is already over and hence, it is not possible to apply for this years IAS exam, instead now you should start focusing on the next year's exam. There are several good coaching institutes which can help you in your preparation and achieve success in the same, but then it is equally important for you to put in the best efforts and hard work.

Hi Abhishek,
Although, it would not be possible to get through IITs with this score but you definitely can look for other state and center level institutes like BHU, Osmania, and Lucknow University etc. which conduct their own entrance but at the same time accept GATE.

Hi Vibhor,
Although, KIIT has decent placement record, but more than the University the placement is dependent on your own capabilities, how you perform on the programme and how you use the knowledge earned at the time of placement interviews.
For more detailed information I would suggest you to visit the institute and try and interact with the current batch students and faculty and if possible try and get the contacts of few of the alumnae. Also go through the alumnae feedback section of the link I am placing below:

Hope this resolv

Hello Dhanesh, All the four have equal opportunities and career prospectives. If you like talking to ppl, managing, training and supervising, helping , helping them in following safe work practices while working on machines then you go for M.SC(In H&S) . If you want to play safe and do not want to limit your self to only one field and want some thing which is inter-disciplinary then go for either Organic Chemistry or Environmental Chemistry.
All the very best,
Gomti
