The most important thing which you should keep in mind while choosing your course stream is your own interests and career aspirations. However, as you are from Science background depending on the subjects you had in 12th you can choose your course stream from medical branches like MBBS, BDS, Bioinformatics, Pharmacy etc. or non-medical like Engineering, B.Sc, Chemistry, physics, math, Math (Hons), statistics etc.
You can also opt for courses like BBA, BCA etc.

To pursue a career in lectureship or teaching you need to either go for M.Phil or PhD programs or need to sit for NET depending on the Institute you are applying to. If you are going for AICTE approved Institutes who majorly give Management and technology related PG diploma programs you can apply if you have a Masters level degree and a PhD or M.Phil whereas if you are planning to apply to the Universities and colleges coming under University you need to clear NET.
