But University keep hiring new ones. So, don't you worry about it.
It used to be a good University. With so many senior faculty gone, I am not sure it's still good or not.
But if this is the best option you got than go for it.
Work hard on your academics and coding skills and you will be placed in a good company.

Suppose you are a general category student, sorry I may sound harsh to you but you will not be able to get any NIT or IIIT at this rank but don't lose hope, NITs or IIITs are not the end of life, there are many private colleges which gives admission on the basis of JEE Mains score so you can try for them:
