The bachelor of technology (commonly abbreviated as B.Tech. or B.Tech. (Hons) or BT) is an undergraduate academic degree conferred after completion of a three or four-year program of studies at an accredited university or accredited university-level institution.
BE or B Eng is a Bachelor degree for Engineering (Engineer)
B Tech is for Bachelor of Technology (Technician)
B Eng which generally means more theory than a BTech degree. BTech on the other hand generally has less theory compared to a BEng and more practical skills (hands on) from in class examples/assignments than a BEng. This doesn't mean that a B Eng has no practical skills, they still have assignments and usually have capstone projects in their 4th/5th year to demonstrate and apply all the theory they have acquired over the years of study.
From what I have been told by my profs, B Eng can become a P Eng (Professional Engineer) which means they have the responsibility of making sure everything is done correctly. Usually the lead engineer has a P Eng. You are held responsible if anything messes up. B Tech on the other hand do not usually lead large scale projects and usually on the lower end of the food chain. B Tech are required to be proficient in multiple software because that's what they mainly interact with.
Engineers do most of the designing and consulting, while a Technician does most of the drawings, calculations, miscellaneous work. From that, its obvious that a BE will earn more money than a BTech
BE will more jobs opening compared to B tech.

It is really good to hear that you aspire to become an engineer. Well, all the branches of engineering are equally good and have good job opportunities.
Selecting a branch is entirely your decision. Always remember,
- You should focus on what all you will study in each branch and choose a branch which matches your interest and skills.
- Join a reputed college as this will increase your job prospects.
- Discuss with your seniors and others about the pros and cons of each branch and make a decision which will help you in building up a rewarding career.
The most important thing which you should keep in mind while choosing your education stream is your own interests and career aspiration, no matter how booming a particular career stream is but you would be able to excel in that stream only when you have interest in that particular field.
