COMPARISON
Now if we compare both the jobs, then both are prestigious jobs in Govt. providing you incentives, money. Now, it depends on you what you want in your life. If you want to gain some power of administration in your hand and also want money, then surely you must go for SSC-CGL because in PO job you are not given any power related to administration. And if you want to earn much money in your life then surely go for bank PO job. Now, here I am describing some points where you can get some idea why I would say that SSC-CGL jobs are much better than Bank PO jobs.
1.In SSC surely you will get less money than PO job, but stats say that employs working in SSC are more satisfied with their job as compared to PO jobs.
2.PO has to work much more. He can be posted anywhere in India and does not have time for there family. He has to more after the bank hours also to achieve their targets. Even sometimes due to the load of work they had to work even on Saturday. This does not happen with SSC employees.
3.PO has to deal with money which is risky. If any wrong transaction happened or there is some calculation in money then he has to pay for that which could be the big amount.
4.You will not be provided with any power in PO job. You have the power within the banking circle only.
5.Bank PO is not a Gazetted Officer whereas SSC low post is also a Gazette Officer.
6.In SSC there is very less possibility of posting in rural areas but in PO job some or the other time you will be posted in the rural area.
Again it is a personal choice. If you have an interest in the Banking sector, go for it. If you do not like hectic like and want a peaceful job with power, go for CGL. People say that CGL is any day better than banks.

AGE LIMIT :
Every candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and not attained the age of 35 years as on the last date specified for receipt of the application or on such other date as may be specified by the Government.
Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST and category I candidates.
Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years(Guru Shisyathank you for the update)(earlier it was 3 years*) for Other backward category candidates.
Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 10 years for Physically Handicapped or Widow candidates.
Upper age limit shall be relaxed in the case of a candidate who is an ex-serviceman, by the number of years of service rendered by him in the Armed forces of the Union.
ATTEMPTS AT THE EXAMINATION:
An unlimited number of attempts in case of candidate belongs to SC/ST ( Age limit considered).
7 attempts in case of candidate belong to other backward caste.
5 attempts to general merit candidates.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
Candidate should PossessesBachelors Degree or Masters Degree awarded by a University established law in India are possesses an equivalent qualification.
