Hi,
How are you?
Well, each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
So, choose a suitable branch.
Go for it.
Thank you and keep asking!

That's a tough choice. Your grades are good but may not be sufficient for SRCC. Cut-offs are usually 99% and more. It will be wise to decide after the merit lists are drawn. In the meanwhile keep checking more university options abroad.
However, though King's University is reputed, it is not one of the top 10 universities in Canada, on the other hand, SRCC is one of the best in India. You may juggle between options like the University of British Columbia, University of Toronto, Mc Gill University and Simon Fraser. Studying abroad will give you a better global experience but study from a top ranked university only.

It is safer to do B.Tech in m echanical than going for automobile and it is better to learn more about automobile engineering along with your mechanical degree. Basically, 85% of syllabus content is same.
B.Tech in automobile is not enough for entering the industry and there are very few job openings for B.Tech auto pass outs. Campus placements are also very few.
It is waste spending time at service centers after B.Tech in automobile, it is not going to help you enter the industry.
