Hello Dear,
Its very very less predictable that you can get admission to any medical courses anywhere in India with a score of 170. For Private college BDS also your score needs to be around 250.
Hope this helps!

It is very competitive. Every mechanical engineer wants to work in R&D department. There are a lot of mechanical engineers and not as many R&D positions. You can try:
Learn additive manufacturing through projects. Lots of R&D teams value this experience. Learn about how different materials are used for different applications.
Get certified in DFSS (Design for Six Sigma). They value the knowledge here.
Build your own Network through LinkedIn, company events, etc.
Look up R&D positions that you may interest in and see what qualifications you may be missing. Train for those.

Hi Seema,
The NIFT Criteria says, Candidates must not be more than 23 years of age as on October 1, 2017. However, candidates from Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes category as well as Physically Handicapped Persons (PHP) can avail age relaxation of up to five years.
You can definitely try for other Private institutes because some of them don't have an age criteria. Do keep an eye on when are the admission forms coming out. They usually start around September.
Good luck!

Helllo Vivek,
If you're aspiring to pursue MBA in future, you should go for BBA. BBA makes your basics more clear and acts as a direct entry in MBA. You can also opt for the five-year integrated course, I. e. BBA+MBA, offered in most colleges today.

After B.Tech in biotech, your degree does not make you eligible for M.Sc in microbiology, it requires B.Sc. It would open more avenues for you to various places if you pursue M.Tech after B.Tech or M.Sc biotech further.

Hello Dilip,
The first round of counselling generally means it is the opening round of counselling for the admissions where the students are called from the top merit list and they would also have huge chances of getting a seat.
There are 2 streams for admission at SASTRA University.
