Information technology (IT) may adopt the monikers information systems or systems administration. Essentially, IT professionals are the users of technology.
Whereas, Computer Science(CSE) background person, i.e computer 'scientists' are focused on the theory of computational applications. That means they understand the why behind computer programs.

Now as far as the studies are concerned,
IT is more theoretical based.
Whereas Computer Science includes almost all concepts needed from IT as well as programming skills required for working & creating real life technological tools.
Also, I would like to add a lot of colleges are dissolving IT as an independent stream and merging its fundamental subjects with Computer Science Stream, as IT is considered to be a subset of CSE.
And generally, for placements or higher studies, preference is given to a student from CSE background as compared to IT.
This is because a student from CSE is presumed to be familiar with all concepts of subjects offered in IT but the same cannot be said for a student of IT.

After completing an MBA (HR), I would advise you to start working. Though you can always immediately look for further qualifications like Ph.D. in aboard etc., however, I believe getting some real work exposure gives you a better idea and understanding in terms of which domain of HR would you like to make your career (if you are looking for a specialisation). Once you have gained that experience, you may go ahead with further studies - could be research based or non-research based. Or you could even further enhance your skills by doing short certification programmes in C&B, etc.
Along with your work, you may like to register yourself for some professional HR journals/ magazines, which help you in updating your knowledge.

Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi (FMS) - This is the best option in Delhi for an MBA. Consistently ranked as one of the best MBAs in the country. CAT cutoff would hover around 98 %ile.
MDI Gurgaon- One of the finest options for MBA in the private business schools category. CAT cutoff would hover around 95 %ile.
Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi- The business school of IIT Delhi. Small batch size, great faculty and good placement record - again a great option for an MBA in Delhi. CAT cutoff would hover around 96 %ile.
IIFT, Delhi- A highly coveted business school, which conducts its own entrance exam. The MBA in International Business from IIFT can open lots of doors in your career.
