Aarav.My brother-in-law recently graduated with a MBA degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He is a BE Mech graduate with ten years experience in the software field in USA. Though you don't need that many years of experience to do MBA in the University of Michigan, you stiil need some work exprerience as it is one of the best business schools in the world. You need a four year degree like BE or BTech (High first class)or MSc or Mcom (High first class) with atleast three years of managerial work experience. GMAT score of around 680 atleast and TOEFL score of over 600. My brother-in-law, though a Green Card holder, was successful in getting admission only in his second attempt as he did not get sufficient GMAT score. He reappeared for GMAT. Due to tough economic situation, he received his job offer only two months after graduation. Normally, University of Michigan MBA graduates get a job offer by the time they complete the course or just before completion. However, there are other universities in US that don't have stringent admission requirements like Michigan. But still you need a four year degree or a Mcom or Msc with a high first class. As for the salaries are concerned, this shall depend on many factors like the organization profile, designation applied for, your work profile, education qualification, academic record and performance during the interview. Giving any start range of salary will be highly irrelevant as this keeps varying as per the companies.

HI Iqra, To pursue PhD you need to first prepare your research proposal and send it to the university. The research proposal must include a summary of the proposal and then the proposal in detail. You need to write the topic, reason for doing research, how the research will be beneficial to the community and the university, what is the different thing you are doing that hasn't been undertaken earlier. Also, include how you will progress during the research and the duration you might need to achieve the milestones you have set. If the university accepts your proposal you will be asked to send in your documents after which you will get the offer letter. Then meeting all the requirements you can begin with the visa process. To approach a University you must contact the dean or the professor at the University and ask them if there is any research going on. Because its always not mentioned on the University's website whether the research in your field of interest is going on or not.
