Well the failures are a part of a success, so losing hope will never help. Yet, what I would like to advise you is, as you are pursuing your B.Com, you may continue with the same and not necessarily go for BBA now. Along with which if you are still keen to give it a try at the CPT, you can surely go ahead with the same as there aren't any constraint over the maximum number of attempts.
Also if not CA, you can opt complete your B.Com and then head for your Masters like MBA, M.Com or can look for other professional programs like CFA, CWA etc.
Please revert for any further queries.
All the Best!

But before you take the plunge, ask yourself if you will be able to get the desired score. If you are confident to score above 1300 according to the old pattern then go ahead and take the test. Else wait and you can apply for the fall 2012 intake.
Meanwhile you can work towards preparation and score as high as you can to get the univ of your choice.

The most important thing which you need to keep in mind while taking such a decision is your own capabilities, if you are confident that after giving one year to your IITJEE preparation you can get a rank worth getting into IITs then go ahead and start your preparation else opt for SRM which is a decent Institute.
Another thing which I would like add here that if you put a right kind of effort in your programme, score well, and are able to use your knowledge to get the right job placements then even SRM can fetch a placement which can take you to the level you are looking for.
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up
