Hi Pavan,
Software and Hardware are two different streams of IT and have a lot of difference so to be able to make any comparison. Depending on your interests and analysing your strengths, you can make a choice between the two. However to guide you all I can suggest you is if you are keen in to coding and development, only then take up software stream.

See, the decision between MBA and MTech depends on your interests and skills. SInce you have done BTech, you already have a slight hands-on experience of the technical field. If you like the work and whatever you have learnt and feel interested in it, better to continue with MTech.
But if you are not so much interested in technical field and want to move onto MBA and have good analytical skills, I would suggest you to go ahead with MBA in telecom.
For MBA in telecom, the best option for full time course is SITM which offers two specializations
1. Systems and finance
2. Marketing and finance.

I must say that the time is not sufficient to prepare for XAT as it is the toughest MBA entrance exam, but still I will recommend the following books for preparation.
Quants - Arun Sharma
Verbal - Norman Lewis for vocab, Wren & Martin for grammar, Arun Sharma for verbal reasoning
LRDI - Nishit K Sinha
Try solving last 5 years XAT papers to get a gist of it. It is anot at all conceptual like CAT, instead presents challenging problems. Try pracrising for atleast 4-5 hours daily.

Hi Santoshini,
Well definitely B.Lib.Sc is a good option but is quite different when compared to the B.Sc computers and as you have already completed this course, it is not advised to go for another Bachelors that too in a different stream. I would instead suggest you to walk on your current path only as it too is a huge field with great career avenues to offer.
