Well yes you can apply for lateral entry to BCA program on the basis of your 3 years Diploma from Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education.

Else there is an education body called NCC Education that give credit to your every level of education. So your two years would not go waste rather would be taken as Diploma and Advanced Diploma respectively so you become eligible for 3rd year as per their rules. I would say that you can opt for certifications in the domain of Networking like CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator (RHCVA), Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), etc.
The more computerisation, the more is the requirement of hardware professionals. Job opportunities exist in manufacturing, repair,installation, services and maintenance. Whether it is banks, governement offices, Retail outlets, hospitality or any organisation belonging to any domain, have a network of computers for storage and sharing of information. Application Programming:
It involves core programming for which you need to do a course in technologies like Java or .Net. and even web technologies.
Networking:
In this you need to have knowledge and skills to manage various network of computers and roles are like network engineer and systems Administrator. Certifications for this domain are MCSE, CCNA, RHCE etc.
Databases:
where you can become a database expert and have the role of Database Administrator. For this domain you need to do a course in Oracle and Oracle DBA.
Depending on your strength, aspiration and goals you need to make a choice.While these are options related to the skill sets you have mentioned, you could explore options as you explore your skills further.
