It purely depends on what you are good at. For instance, a cs engineer requires perseverance, analytical reasoning, logical and strong mathematical skills whereas a mechanical engineer should be more strong in physics along with very fine motor skills to deal with machines. A strong hand on geography gives you an edge over others to become a petroleum engineer. So the idea is to assess your own strengths and then choose the best for you. It can't be determined that which branch will be best this year as you are going to apply for jobs after 4 years. It solely depends on your interest that which one you should go for. Generally saying you can take up CSE/ECE as they are currently the most job fetching specializations. Also select a good university so that it can help you during placements. Some suggestions -
