if you are doing any course from distance education then it is mandatory it should be approved by DEC ( Distance education Counsel ), and EIILM university is approved by UGC you can check it from UGC site

NSJ is right, you have to complete your studies in one college, but there is exception which is, you can change your college while you have a valid cause in the institutes affiliated under a same university.

You can enter into the CIMA qulaification through CIMA Professional Gateway Assessment.
On successful completion of the gateway exam you will get 11 paper exemptions (at no extra cost) from the CIMA Professional Qualification and awared the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting.
You can then progress to the strategic level of the CIMA Professional Qualification, thereafter on completion of your practical experience, you can apply to become a CIMA member.

Well for UPSC exam, there is a big list of optional subjects to choose from. You may choose any subject according to your interest. I would suggest you to opt for a particular subject in which you are comfortable and find scoring as it will help you to score well.
