A) The first auditors of the Company are appointed by the Board of Directors and the Board only fixes the remuneration of the First Auditors. However, the auditor is appointed or re-appointed by the general meeting, the remuneration is fixed by the general meeting, or it may be fixed in any manner as determined by a general meeting.
B) Drawl of foreign exchange by any person for the following purpose is prohibited, namely: a transaction specified in the Schedule I; or a travel to Nepal and/or Bhutan; or a transaction with a person resident in Nepal or Bhutan. For more information please check the link below:

C) Every public company must have at least 3 directors and every private company must have at least 2 directors. This is the minimum legal requirement as to the number of directors. The Articles of a company may, and usually do, fix the minimum and maximum number of directors of its Board. A company in general meeting may, by ordinary resolution, increase or reduce the number of its directors within the limits fixed in that behalf by its Articles. In certain cases, the increase in number of directors also requires the approval of the Central Government.

First of all I would like to request you to put the complete information about your educational & professional background while asking such a query. However, the most important thing while choosing a field or a degree would be your own interest and career aspirations. If you feel that you have clear cut goal in your life to pursue a particular field and that after working in that particular field your mind will not divert to other fields and you start looking for variations then only go for a specialized MBA as this would be more like Masters program where in you will become expert in that particular field of Management.
Whereas, General MBA would give a chance to explore other fields for one full year and it is only in the second year that you choose the best one according to your interests and aspirations. However, scope is a very a subjective term and depend on how you as an individual perform on the program and use the knowledge earned.

Hi Harish,
As MBA is a Post Graduate degree program it definitely will have an upper hand as compare to Post Graduate diploma program. However, to an extent it would also depend on the Institute from where you are doing the program if it is an institute of repute like say IMT or FMS or MDI etc. you may not face much problem while getting a Job and at some places you may have an upper hand when a comparison would be drawn between an MBA done through a 3rd grade Institute and a PGDM from a 1st tier or a 2nd tier Institute.

Hi Cahyan,
I would say that both MBA and CA are difficult programs and although CA is a self study program, it would not be easy to pursue both the programs together.
However, if you have to make a choice between IIM & CA then I would say choose the program which fits your own individual interests and career ambitions. If you are a person with the well rounded qualities who is outgoing, have great communication skills and have the skill set to lead a team MBA is the program for you on the other hand if you are a person with great mathematical skills, have logical and methodical approach in work and give attention to details you can go for CA.
I would like to add here that both the programs offer a bright future however; CA would have a longer route to success whereas MBA from IIMs will give you immediate success.

As you have mentioned of having studied through the Telugu language medium, writing exams in English language would be very difficult as the basics for the two language are very different from one another and will lack in the proficiency that is required while writing the same.To know about these provisions and also about the material (in the Telugu language), you are requested to contact the University directly as the authority of the University can only provide you with the study material.

Firstly I would say that you can always have your MBA after your M.Com, as you have already done one year of your M.Com why to waste a year and all the hard work you have done to clear your first year, by leaving it in between. Moreover, the benefit of completing your M.Com would be that you would have another career as a fall back; it will also give you an upper hand when you go for your MBA interviews etc. As far as CAT & SNAP preparation is concerned you can always do it along with your degree.
If you still feel that you want to discontinue your M.Com then you have to give a strong reason to do so. If you tell them that in second year you realized that M.Com was not something you were looking for then it will reflect your indecisiveness. So whatever reason you choose should show you in a positive light.
