Career in Private sector after B.Ed.
There are many private schools in India, which includes both state syllabus and CBSE syllabus. There are many schools, which provide ICSE syllabus, International syllabus and many more. Another education system commonly known as Montessori education gives an emphasis on the natural psychological development in child. The non-traditional education or alternative education includes philosophies totally different from the mainstream education.
Career in Government Schools after B.Ed
In order to start a career in Government schools it is necessary to write the state level or national level tests. The test organized for state level is named as STET or State Teacher Eligibility Test. The one for national level is named as NET or National Eligibility Test. After clearing the test one can join in any Government School as a teacher.
Career Abroad after B.Ed
Candidates can look for jobs in abroad as well after completing B.Ed. There are many educational institutions in which candidates can search for jobs. Each country has a different education system and all of them follow different syllabus. Yet with a good experience one can easily find a career in teaching abroad.

Graduates usually begin their career as teachers in primary level. With their experience, they can be promoted as high school teachers. They can even move on to become the Principal of the School.
