I would also like to add here that before enrolling into any Coaching Institute check on few things such as Study Material, faculty background, Number of classes, infrastructure, any extra help or extra classes provided by the Institute. Analyze these factors and make a decision.

Before answering your query i would request you to think about your decision once again as you already have 15 yrs experience in a particular profession and i really dint want your efforts to go vain because if you change your profession then you have to start again from the scratch. As a result i would suggest you to do a course related to your profession rather than changing your Profession altogether. But as you have asked the question, keeping in mind your interest i would say that you can opt for Advertising, Marketing, Business Planning, etc. But still would suggest you to go for a course related your profession.

In the UK most PhD programmes last for three years.
