You should tell the visa consulate that this course does not have a very bright scope in India in terms of technology and networking and that you want to particularly do this course in USA due to the international exposure you will gain. Also, the technology in USA is much advanced than in India and hence would give you alot of exposure to international technology. Also, you want to create a global network which is another reason why you chose to pursue this course in USA. Do not say anything else other than the points that i have mentioned.

Hi Tulika,
If you have not scored well in first two years there is nothing you can do to undo that, however, focus on what you have right now in your hand i.e. work as hard as possible to cover up for the first two years low score.
