You being on a B1, B2 visa has got nothing to do with GRE and TOEFL or you applying for a masters program there. To apply for a masters program there, you will have to take the GRE and TOEFL. It is very much mandatory. Also, you would have to apply for a f1 visa(education visa) after you get the admission.

Although, Pondicherry University is a decent University which is UGC recognized, but I would say that to get the indepth information on placements, infrastructure, Faculty etc. you should visit the University and try and talk to the Faculty of your programme. Apart from this also interact with the current batch students and take the details of few of the alumnae as this will help you in getting a clear picture about the institute. However according to the Universitys records 99 percent MBA students were placed in the year 2008 and their overall placement percentage are 60+.
