Hi Rohit,
You have to complete your Bachelor's degree with very high grades, atleast 75%. You must demonstrate research work, publications, project work or an internship, etc. IELTS must be taken. You may or may not learn German language depending on the programme of instruction but knowing the language will enhance your prospects.

Category is divided on the basis of your rank, if you get lower category then you need to pay less, this is basically done because if a student doesn't perform well in the exam.

Any person with a valid graduation degree is eligible to get admitted to FMS.
However, I'm not sure about open learning courses as graduation degree. Please refer to the 'admissions' tab at the institute website at www.fms.edu for further details.

Your information is not correct or it's out of context. Both BE and B.Tech are four degree courses approved by AICTE. If you take lateral admission after diploma then one requires three years to complete BE or B.Tech.

Hello Seetha,
To join diploma after 10th is a crucial one. However, once you complete diploma, it's treated as equivalent to 12th for many purposes. Of course, one looses one full year here.
Fear of maths can be overcome easily by going to a good teacher.
