If you are planning to become an engineer or specifically software developer then I would suggest you not to opt these programs. These programs will provide you a long way to reach the destination. Say, for an example, if you go with B. Sc. IT then you would require M. Sc. IT and only then you will become an engineer or equivalent to an MCA or B Tech CSE. But there is one more problem that is the duration of M. Sc. IT, which is generally not 3 years and in the case of such programs (B. Sc. CS, B. Sc. IT, BCA, etc.) a 3 years post graduate degree would only be equivalent to B Tech. Now, in this way you will invest number of years and in many cases during employment application you would face problems, if you apply for the same post for which MCAs and B Techs are eligible. You must go for B Tech.
If you are not in a mood to become an engineer but you want to get a job in this field then I don't think that there is any problem in opting these programs. IT orientation is more in B. Sc. IT and application based learning is more in B. Sc. CS. So it is upto you to decide a type of job you are willing to opt in future and then make your choice to opt a program. My view says, you should go for B. Sc. CS. Thanks, It helps or not? Tell me and revert to ask.

Medicine can be simply defined as the applied science or practice of the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illness to restore health which involves variety of health care practices.
If you interested in Medical field and if you don't want to opt for Maths than you can take Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the subjects.
There are many courses available. You must opt for a course / stream which matches your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goal.
Considering Biology in 12th, you may take up medicine, dentistry, agricultural science, dairy science or biological sciences (biochemistry, biotechnology). (ONLY if you fulfill the eligibility criteria).
* Apart from doing the degree level courses in Science with the conventional combinations you can also choose degree courses in several emerging professional areas such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing etc.
* You can also opt for courses outside the university stream such as hotel management, fashion technology, aircraft maintenance engineering, government accredited computer courses.
As for Biotechnology, it is a rewarding and promising career option.
- After completing the course, graduates can seek employment in chemical industries, agricultural sectors, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries.
- Professionals in this career can also opt for teaching jobs in universities and colleges.
- Bio-technologists can seek employment in research laboratories, which are run by government or private sector.
- Professionals can seek job opportunities in private sectors such as food processing and agro-based industries, pharmaceutical farms and aquaculture.
- Environmental experts are also employed in different government agencies and private institutions.
- Bio-technologists can also opt for science writer in media houses.
