If you are planning to become an engineer or specifically software developer then I would suggest you not to opt these programs. These programs will provide you a long way to reach the destination. Say, for an example, if you go with B. Sc. IT then you would require M. Sc. IT and only then you will become an engineer or equivalent to an MCA or B Tech CSE. But there is one more problem that is the duration of M. Sc. IT, which is generally not 3 years and in the case of such programs (B. Sc. CS, B. Sc. No, you can't. You should pass the same to enter UG. You can join only when your result is awaited and UG admissions are on with the notification that the result awaiting candidates can also apply. Secondly, at the time of counselling you would be required to submitt your passed grade card. I think, it helps.

Finance was best in mumbai till last year in comparision to other campus but this year it wasnt upto mark.although the placements were satisfactory but dont expect more. The average package is around 4 lacs p.a the highest is 9 lacs in india and 12 outside india the biggest drawback is intake becouse they take so many students(current batch strength 750) which is difficult to place them. As far as taking admission is concerened i will suggeat you that if you are getting some other good colg. Then wait for that otherwise ibs is not a bad option.

Hi Arpit,
All students from the ICSE/CBSE or any other state board are eligible for writing the IIT/JEE and All India entrance examination for engineering /MBBS and dental provided they have the subject combination necessary for attempting these exams i.e, Physics, Chemistry, Maths for Engineering and Physics, Chemistry and Biology for MBBS/BDS.
Moreover, both the boards are good at their respective levels. Hence, the ball lies on your court.
