Why are you going for engineering? Engineering colleges are just money making machines. You will get nothing from there. Instead you shall go for B.Sc or BCA as your career choice and do some job oriented course along with your degree. This will surely help you to get a job after or before the completion of your degree.

No, many institutes consider the GRE as an equivalent test for their admission process, although it is recommended you take GMAT to stay relevant in placements. Research shows that most of those who get in using GRE, take the GMAT while in college to appeal to potential employers

Hi Nikil,
I am not sure about the colleges in Bangalore, but I know a friend who pursued B.Tech Aerospace Engineering with Specialization in Avionics (http://www.upes.ac.in/upes_btech/aerospace_engg_with_specialization_avionics.php) from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, and is now placed as a Satellite Engineer and is earning pretty well.

Seriously I don't know about Oriental Institute of Science but let me share my thoughts on LPU:
1. Accreditation: As LPU got accreditation from Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs, USA (ACBSP). Not only LPU is highly accredited but also it is having numerous international tie ups for instance university of North Alabama, Livingstone College etc.

Yes, anyone can apply for MBA. The only requirement is they need a degree from any discipline. You can appear for TISSNET exam and join in HR and LR. But the competition is very high for this course in TISS.
