Well, Production Engineer is basic bone of mechanical engineer, due to this reason in many colleges it has been established as separate branch. Scope are as follows:-
There is one exam conducted by UPSC ( Junior manager workshop)
There is another exam conducted by UPSC( IES)
Kindly do visit NIFT Ranchi website
Through GATE many companies are taking specially ONGC
Added advantage is that through mechanical you can also apply for job
Kindly visit IIIT (Jabalpur) for manufacturing and design.
