Hi Tanu Pathak,
Any university can accept this score if you have a very strong academic profile and if the university's admission norms allow them to do so. For Masters degree, no doubt higher IELTS score is required but if you have a strong profile as mentioned they can be flexible with the IELTS score. You must write to them directly.

Hi Neeve,

Xavier's a recognized college in India, if you are talking about St. Xavier's College, if yes I don't see any reason why Xavier's degree won't be recognized. Alternatively, check the college recognition on UGC website. Also, check with the colleges abroad if your profile and degree is acceptable or not.

It all depends on the type of exam you are taking.
If you are preparing for SSC/Bank then go for corrective grammar by Ajay Kr. Singh. It is very easy to understand. For practice and command buy, A mirror of common error by Ashok Kr Singh and English is easy by B.Sc publication. If you are preparing for some other higher level exams then do read answers given by other Quorans. I would strongly recommend to read Raymond Murphy and PC Wren.
