If you are from B.Com background, then you can go for finance. If you have a work experience in manufacturing or production company and completed B.Tech in mechanical/ civil, then you must go for operations.
You can opt for fields like marketing, HR/ rural management or retail management because these streams will be more fruitful for your career, if you have a keen interest.

Lately, number of admissions in CSE department has been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Hello Chandan,
I see that you too are a victim of the myth about private colleges. If you have the skill set a company wants and you have a good percentage (at least 70) with no backlogs, you can end up at a respectful position in a reputed company. To the company, skills matter not the college.
While B.Tech in private engineering college is more expensive compared to government colleges, it provides you the same in-depth knowledge and if you're able to grasp it, you end up in a much better job regardless of whether you cleared from a government or a private college.
I hope I have been able to answer your queries to your satisfaction.
