Greetings, Karthik IITs and NITs are the premier colleges for civil engineering. Jp university, LPU, Amity, UPES, are other colleges and universities. My relative received his B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil Engineering from LPU and was hired by a multinational corporation. He said the following about LPU's civil engineering programme:
1. The majority of the faculty members come from reputable organisations and hold advanced degrees from prestigious institutions such as IITs and NITs. Aside from that, faculty members have worked in the industry before.
2. The capstone project is a requirement of the B.Tech degree, and students must choose a real project based on a practical problem-based scenario (preferably from industry), work on it for six months under the supervision of a mentor, and deliver a report at the conclusion.
3. There is an internship programme that may provide you with job experience and boost your chances of finding work after graduation. However, in order to qualify for this placement choice, your academic record must be excellent.
4. From time to time, industrial tours to adjacent construction sites are scheduled. There is actual construction activity going on there. Expect your shoes to be covered in dust (believe me, it will be worth a lot). You must ask yourself questions and pique your curiosity in the things going on around you.
5. They have a strong placement record, with L&T, Simplex Piles Ltd, Era Infrastructure, and Gammon India Ltd, to mention a few, visiting their campus.
6. Dedicated to a career Software training is provided in project labs. To work in this field, you must be familiar with tools such as MS-Project, STAAD Pro, MX Road, and others. Regardless, you will receive Auto CAD training in your second year, which is a requirement for any Civil Engineer.

In current situation of COVID -19, a lot of students are opting to not to travel abroad, instead they are referring to Indian colleges that are offering international degree. At this moment, it is good. With lot of new technologies coming in like cloud and Big data (not wholly new, but relatively new at least in the Indian space), there is some growth that is deemed to be possible until at least the next 5-10 years. This duration should be good enough to establish oneself firm footed.
Also, another mandate is the operation of Indian IT industry of late in the mode of "survival of the fittest". So, one should constantly be on their toes to keep up with the dynamic nature of this work space.

Hello Abhishek,
I would suggest you to appear for IIT JEE and AIEEE. These two entrance examinations provide admissions to IITs/ NITs and other government colleges, which are cost-effective.
I would also suggest you to appear for individual state examinations (OJEE in Odisha, EAMCET in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, COMEDK in Karnataka, etc.). These exams also guarantee you good colleges and serve as a backup in case things don't end up the way you've planned for IIT/ AIEEE.
Every state has its own share of good engineering colleges. So, don't underestimate or overlook them. They can prove to be vital. The more the entrance examinations you appear for, the more the options you will have for choosing colleges.
Certain private colleges like SRM, KIIT (Odisha), GITAM (Vishakhapatnam) and ITER (Odisha) conduct their own entrance examinations. You can opt for these as well.
