Hello Suraj,
Unfortunately, you have not mentioned about your subject in Diploma. Anyway. Normally, one should select a similar or related subject for doing graduation. In fact, if you are seeking lateral admission then it's a must but if you are treating a Diploma as an equivalent of 12th then you can choose any branch of engineering. I hope, I have been able to answer your query.
Best wishes!

Canada is not a country to offer lot of options for MBA to students without work experience. If you are looking for long term settlement in Canada and to gain valuable work experience, then go for skilled courses. They call it post-graduation certificate or diploma. But please remember that it has to be relevant to your studies. Industrial design and automotive is a huge industry in Canada. Look for that.
Still, if you wish to our sue MBA, look for NYIT and Thompson River University. They don't ask for work experience.
Looking forward for a reply.
Thanks.

LPU for B.Tech in ECE is a good option, but it's important to keep expectations realistic.

Academically, the curriculum covers the standard ECE subjects like analog/digital electronics, signals & systems, communication systems, VLSI basics, and embedded systems. Labs and infrastructure are decent for practical exposure, but how much you actually learn depends a lot on your own effort.

When it comes to placements, most ECE students at LPU either:

  • Get placed in IT/service-based companies, or

  • Move into software roles after learning coding alongside ECE

Core electronics placements (like semiconductor or hardcore telecom roles) ar
