Bharathiar University, Coimbatore is approved by UGC for grants and not approved by AICTE as it does not offer any technical course. Similarly, it is not DEC approved as it does not offer any course through distance mode. The university offers only PG courses in M.Sc., MCA and MBA.
PG COURSES
Admission by Entrance Test: Selection will be based on performance in an entrance test and in the qualifying examination (UG) upto V Semester / II year. The Entrance Test will be conducted in the university campus only. Further details are available in the prospectus & in the website www.b-u.ac.in
Direct Admission: Spot Admission will be made on submission of application on first come first served basis.
How to apply: Application forms and prospectus can be had from the Registrar in person or by post from 21.03.2011 on requisition with a cost of Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- in the case of SC/ST Candidates, on production of attested photocopy of community certificate) in the form of a Demand Draft dated no earlier than 15.03.2011 drawn in favour of the Registrar, Bharathiar University payable at Coimbatore and self addressed stamped envelope to the value of Rs.50/-. Please note that cash payment will NOT BE ACCEPTED.
