Hi Dr. Raju, the shortest term course that you can go for will be 1 year in duration. As you are a doctor and you have already done a hospital administration course, I do not see any other course to enhance your knowledge other than a PhD. As at masters level other than the course you have already do a medical practitioner can go for public health course or for clinical courses.
PhD and Public health courses can be done in any country. But you may have to apy a lot for PhD so my suggestion to you would be to look for options in Nz. the PhD tuition fee per annum is just 1.5 lacs. living expenses are at 3.5 lacs per annum.

Hi Vijjy, if you have made the decision already then go ahead. Other courses that can lead you to be a diplomat is Masters in Diplomacy. But for both the courses you will need to work hard as Engineering will not provide you with any relevant base for the course. Its a different thing altogether that the course does not require a relevant background. So if you have a flair for the field go ahead.
The course in Australia may or may not be 1 yr in duration. If you are specific about the duration then try in UK at Nottingham University which provides both the courses mentioned above.
In Australia, La Trobe, Macquarie, University of New south Wales, Bond University offer the course.
Documents required to apply for admission- Class 10 and 12 marksheets and Passing certificate, sem wise or year wise marksheets, degree certificate or provsional certificate, Statement of Purpose, Letters of Recommendation(2), Work experience letters from all employers (if any), CV (if you have work ex), A copy of your passport(1st and Last Page), IELTS ( 6.5 min for PG courses but some univ will ask you for 7.0).
