If your friend is planning to do PGDCA programme through correspondence then he can consider doing it through, IGNOU, Symbiosis or SMU etc. Check with IMT distance learning as well.
However, if he is looking for regular PGDCA programme, he can check with Delhi University, College of Business Studies, Deen Dayal Upadhyay College, Institute of Management Studies etc.

There are many short term and long term courses available in the Animation/ Multimedia and as the career in Animation is more dependent on the creativity of the person, you can take up short courses - certificate/ diploma programs in this field.
You may opt to pursue the same along with your masters as well provided you can handle two courses by prioritizing things well.
