Hi PK Agarwal, both the countries are good for technology courses. The future is agian bright in both the countries.
In USA to stay back after course, you nee to find a job. But in Germany you get to stay back for a year and you can look for a job.
While studying in USA can be an expensive affair, you will spend about Euro 740 per month for living expenses and Euro 140 - 500 per sem for studies.
There are 2 intakes in a yearSep/Oct and MArch/April. The application and admission process takes about 9 months so youneed to plan accordingly. Thedeadline for Sep/Oct intake is in Jan and for March /Aprilintake is in July. Hence, youwill need to make an early application.
Once the University receives your application they may takeabout 3-4 months to inform youof the decision. Not all Univmay intimate you if your application is incomplete, hence it is your duty to ensure thatyou send all the requested documents in one go to avoid anylast minute issues.
If you do not want to apply directly or are apprehensive youtake help from UNI ASSIST. they charge Euro 55 for their service of applying to 2-3 univ.And additional Euro 15 per univ.

Surely. To become a Game Designer, you must get a good knowledge of 3D software as well as preproduction. Usually in Games the environment is created in 3DSMax and Character animations in Maya, Only the models are made with less polygons and more textures. So choose a program that teaches you these software. It would not matter whether the programme is called game design programme or not. Rest, to become a level designer you must have a passion for game design. May I ask, have you ever designed a game?
