Photography through distance education is least of a possibility and I doubt if there are institutes which can provide this kind of course as this program will carry out most of the courses on practical based rather than just the theory.

As far as the placements are concerned, although it has decent placement record I would suggest you to visit the Institute personally and talk to the current batch students and faculty members to get more insight. As GATE is an Objective type Examination that tests you on your Fundamentals, to prepare for GATE it is very important that your Subject fundamentals should be clear. So, the best way to prepare for GATE is to First get your fundamentals right, and then test yourself on those fundamentals. You can also take help of different Coaching Institutes available.
However, as far as the books are concerned there are several books available in the market which you can consult but the best way would be to go through your NCERT books which will help you strengthening your fundamentals and once that is done get a GATE question bank of any of the publications and start practicing.

American universities do not award or recognize the MBBS.
In US medical studies are only done at the graduate level. Undergraduate students complete BS degrees in chemistry, biochemsitry, biology or other science related fields, then take a difficult examination, the MCAT, and apply for admission to Medical schools that require four years of graduate study and award the MD or DO degree. Admission to med school is very competitive - you must have a 3.6 / 4.0 or better average in a series of difficult science courses to be admitted. Also, there are very few scholarships for medical students, so most students must pay the fees, which can be $50,000 USD per year or more for each of the four years.
