Photography through distance education is least of a possibility and I doubt if there are institutes which can provide this kind of course as this program will carry out most of the courses on practical based rather than just the theory.

Both the options seem to be good. ICA is a mainly known for the finance and accountancy courses where as NIIT is a known organization in the IT stream and also offers Diploma program in Financial & Accounts.
The curriculum seems quite similar and holds a lot of relevance as per the industry standards and quality.
You can opt for either of the institutes depending on one's personal preference.As for the institutes are concerned, both the institutes offer placement options however the assurance is in subject to the student's capabilities and performance.

As GATE is an Objective type Examination that tests you on your Fundamentals, to prepare for GATE it is very important that your Subject fundamentals should be clear.
