As per your query, it seems that you are currently in Bsc first year in Physics and wish to know about further study options.
So regarding this please remember after completing Bsc in Physics you have 2 options:
1.To opt for a job.
2.To opt for further studies (MBA, Msc in Physics etc)

Technically correspondence courses are termed better as distance education which now a days are aided with virtual classes, radio, lecture DVD, contact classes, seminars, webinars, workshops, projects which makes you and independent and proactive learner and you can learn at your own pace maintaining achievable deadlines.
Regular courses involve fulltime attendance and wastage of whole day, can't do any job and spend in various ways to commute to college, hostel fee. But direct contact with the faculty makes learning easier due to conventional spoon feeding method.
