USA is one of the rare countries that gives you an opportunity to transfer your admission from an Indian college to a college in the USA through the credit system. First of all I would like to let you know what a credit is. In the US, a student in a high school or university earns credits for the successful completion of each course for each academic term. The state or the institution generally sets a minimum number of credits required to graduate.

It totally depends on your career goals and aspirations. If you want a career in business administration, you can opt for a MBA. You can also look for a masters degree in a management related discipline like Masters in management or masters in finance. On the other hand, if you want a career in computers, you should opt for a masters degree in any computer related discipline.

Hi,
He can apply for MBA in HM in India but would be very difficult for him to apply in USA as it is a requirements by more than 90% of the universities that the student's undergrad degree must be a 4 year degree or equivalent which i believe is not your son's case. There are many opportunities in other countries like UK, Europe and Australia if your son is interested in these locations.
Hope my answer has solved your query. If it has, kindly mark it as best answer.

Hi Sannie,
Microbiology is a vast field and covers several subfields like Microbial physiology, Microbial genetics, Food Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology and several others & Microbial Technology is a part of Microbiology which is related to the production of materials in bioreactors, or the production of new catalysts by genetic engineering. So, you actually can not draw a comparison between the two.
However, we can say that Microbiology & Microbial Technology both can fetch you a good career in research and development, but as Microbial Technology is a relatively new field in India you would not find many Institutes or colleges
